Record Store Day in Milwaukee: The Exclusive Company · Apr 19, 07:07 PM by Don

Like Atomic Records, the Exclusive Company was fully participating in Record Store Day. When I was there, Clementine (above) was kicking off its set. The aisles were packed and they were serving up beer and freshly grilled burgers, brats, and dogs. I’ll always have a soft spot for the Exclusive Company because I grew up buying records, tapes, and CDs at its Appleton store.

What did I buy? Let’s see…
New stuff:
Big Dipper – Supercluster: The Big Dipper Anthology (2008)
Shout Out Louds – Impossible (2008)
Used stuff:
The Go-Betweens – “Going Blind” CD single (2000)
Free stuff:
A Fine Frenzy – Introducing A Fine Frenzy DVD (2007)
Eenie Meenie Records 2008 sampler CD
The Kooks – “Always Where I Need To Be” CD single (2008)

Scion CD Sampler #17: Vice Records, mixed by Flosstradamus (2007)

Songs in the MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 format are offered for a limited time only. Songs that are no longer downloadable can be streamed at the Timedoor page at Hype Machine. Dead mp3 links take you to the top of page one.
Support your favorite artists by buying their music at your local independent record store (mine is Atomic Records) or eMusic. And read about ‘em at TrouserPress.com.
