Record Store Day in Milwaukee: Atomic Records · Apr 19, 05:55 PM by Don

Atomic Records was packed today on this, the inaugural Record Store Day. I caught a bit of the Brief Candles set and the first few songs by Testa Rosa (above). I’ve been shopping at Atomic since 1988 (not counting the four years I lived in Houston when I shopped at Sound Exchange). Rich Menning and his staff are genuine music lovers, not to mention friendly and knowledgeable.
What did I buy today? Let’s see…

The Breeders – “We’re Gonna Rise” b/w “German Demonstration” 7” inch single (2008)
Gossip – Live in Liverpool (2008)

Support your favorite artists by buying their music at your local independent record store (mine is Atomic Records) or eMusic. And read about ‘em at TrouserPress.com.
